Mysore Sandalwood by Attar darbar is a luxuriously rich. It is profound, dim, natural, and unbelievably woody and smoky. It is likewise staggeringly smooth and balanced. Maybe you were inside the actual wood.
Exemplary oriental woody note, solid, rich, with a green top note and a delightful waiting aroma. The best quality used to be the Mysore sandalwood assortment from India, these days enormously diminished to the place of elimination from perfumery because of lack of the normal material (the species is shielded from gathering since it’s a jeopardized species).

My mom also likes fragrances and I assumed she might like Sandalwood as she likes saffron, and musk fragrances. This frag also has a ancient feel in it. She really loved it.

My favorite, the original Sandal Attar was discontinued several years ago. I saw that you had a list of “Sandal like” choices. I ordered three small bottles of suggested alternatives to try and see what worked for me. I am trying them on different days, so I can see how they smell at first and how my body reacts during the day. I am so pleased with two of my choices… you made it easy and inexpensive to try to find a scent that will work for me!
